Kids Tennis Day was held at Garden Square, Melbourne Park on Saturday 12 January 2013.

The special lead-up event was full of tennis-related activities and exciting kids entertainment. A special show on Rod Laver Arena featured some of the world's top players including Novak Djokovic, Roger Federer, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, Vicoria Azarenka, Serena Williams, Ana Ivanovic as well as Nickelodean characters including Spongebob Squarepants and performances from Guy Sebastian.

Such a shame that the Australian Open people have not posted a full video of the tennis fun during this Kids Day. They seem more obsessed by the pop singer and groupees than the actual tennis pros

Actually, one of the Australian Guys had uploaded the full video on youtube, but because of some copyrights or sponsors issues, it had to  be removed instantly.  I will upload the video right here if I find it any where....

This sponsorship rights business does get rather frustrating at times. I would have thought if they have their logo visible etc the more people that see and enjoy a recording after the event, the more the sponsor's profile will be raised and liked.

The funniest part of the video was to see Ana Ivanovic jumping in joy after one of her tweeners went in court & Roger smiling after seeing Vika's tweener attempt failed miserably & of course, Roger Federer playing alone when Serena Williams, Novak Djokovic and Ana Ivanovic all are on the other side of the court.  ;) ;)

Yes thank you, I am still interested but sadly looks like the video from your link has been pulled ... however I have now found it posted by on YT by AustralianOpenTV though there was no sound. It looked like good fun, a few quick shots of Roger dancing with Sponge Bob though he really only featured in the last minute when he was playing on his own against Serena, Novac and Ana with Jo Wilfred smiling in the sidelines. I won't post the link in case .... :-/
