I thınk federer has the easıest draw, we are lucky

Well, that could be worse. Doesn't have to be Berdych in the semis (so no mental blocks and Berdy playing at his best cause it's Fed) and everything else is doable if he feels better than he did in Rotterdam Not saying it will be easy, but at least it's not dramatic full stop (like it often is). Hope he's okay and ready for it. It'll make a huge difference that it is his 2nd home and that it's warm there.

I sincerely hope that the recent trip to South Africa, accompanied by his Mum, has done much to relax and recharge Roger's batteries.  A change of scene following Rotterdam, visiting friends and family and having that wonderful, emotional and heart warming experience of seeing what his Foundation has achieved for those youngsters will prove invigorating.  In Dubai he will be playing close to one of his home bases, his family will be close to support him and the weather is warm ................ they say a change is as good as a rest .....

 

I have high hopes for Roger in Dubai and sincerely wish him all the best for a tournament that he enjoys and benefits from.  That's the main thing.

I prefer berdych to del potro ın semıs.Delpo ıs forsure harder for roger.He ıs the only guy that beat federer two ın a row ın the ındoors fırst tıme.

Couldn't agree more with you. All of it, but especially the last two sentences.

 

I just want him to be well and do well as much as he can. At the same time, I'm managing my expectations. He has given us so much over the years and esp last year too, it's all amazing. To do that every year is a big task, even for Fed. As long as he is happy, healthy!! and gives us beautiful tennis whenever he can, I'm more than fine with it. Everything else that happens, no 1 possibly again, winning a lot of titles, is a bonus. I'm now setting my mind to longevity, just like Fed, because I'd like to have him around for as long as he wants it and is able to   And judging from everything he has said the last few months, the plan is long

So I'd be more worried about that, than Delpo. Roger got to know Delpo better and better and he knows what to do to beat him. It's a very tough opponent if he is bringing his A game, but in a very different way.

I disagree, he does not play well against Berdych, so that will be a very important match. However, perhaps Tsonga will beat Berdych and he will play Fed in the semi's. Good luck to Roger, would love him to win th title!!
