The mens singles main draw of 2013 Monte Carlo Rolex Masters will take place today at approximately 2 pm in the Salle Blanche of the Monte-Carlo Casino.

All the 4 wild cards have been announced. The Wild cards for 2013 Monte Carlo Rolex Masters have been given to Gael Monfils, Juan Martin Del Potro, the local Balleret Benjamin & John Isner.

As Tommy Haas has withdrawn from Monte Carlo, so, Ernest Gulbis will get a direct entry in to the main draw. Also, 2 days back David Ferrer was forced to withdraw from Monte Carlo because of a thigh injury.

The following are the Top 16 seeds for Monte Carlo

  1. Novak Djokovic
  2. Andy Murray
  3. Rafael Nadal
  4. Tomas Berdych
  5. Juan Martin Del Potro
  6. Jo-Wilfried Tsonga
  7. Richard Gasquet
  8. Janko Tipsarevic
  9. Marin CIlic
  10. Nicolas Almargo
  11. Gilles Simon
  12. Milos Raonic
  13. Stanislas Wawrinka
  14. Juan Monaco
  15. Andreas Seppi
  16. Philipp Kohlschreiber

PS: Though, its almost sure that Novak Djokovic hasn't withdrawn from Monte Carlo Masters before the draw, but if he withdraws any time before his 1st match, he will get replaced by a lucky loser. The entire draw will remain the same, just that the lucky loser (of the Qualifiers) will take Djokovic's draw. All the seedings will remain same. Even if Djokovic withdraws after the draw, the lucky loser will get a bye from the 1st round match.

The Top 8 seeds will get a bye from the 1st Round match.

Scroll down for the full draw.

Monaco will be an intersting one to watch, although for me, the incentive to get drawn in emotionally is certainly missing with Roger not playing.  Personally, if he is fully fit, I favour Rafa Nadal for this and would like to see him win.  Novak Djokovic will be making a crucial decision when it comes down to whether he plays here as his ankle injury really needs to heal well before facing more punishment on the clay courts, specially with Roland Garros looming ever closer on the horizon.  I would not want to see him aggrevate his injury here and put himself out of the Grand Slam as a result.
