I see Roger's first opponent is potentially Daniel Brands again.  I hope he can come through this time with a bit more ease.

Tennis tournaments at ski resorts are fun - Stratton Mountain, VT was great, but Gstaad is the summer escape for the 1%, beautiful and cool while everyone else travels to crowded beaches.

i hope Roger can play better than he did in hamburg.I really feel unhappy when he doesn't play as he can do.Do y.ou think it is his new racket that doesn't work well? His shots don't hurt as before.I am disappointed  about his defeat but not for that but thinking about his disappointment and his morale.I think he should play with the racket thal let him win all his titles and play without pressing but only for his pleasure. He doesn'have to demonstrate anyone anything. He is already a lennis legend.

I think it's a good move for Roger to change his racquet for a larger head size and it will obviously take a while for him to get used to it. This puts him more on a par with other top players who benefit from having the greater area of strings to play with and will hopefully, in time, increase his shot power and reduce the marginal miss hits.

We may be expecting too much of him so early in this transitional period. Perhaps we should view these smaller tournaments as another practice session, which gives him a good work out under competitive conditions where he and his team can iron out the problems before the US Open.

Well federer is starting 2014 season in brisbane international australia instead of doha. I think its a wise move to acclamatize with the heat of australia. Looks like roger is very eager to get his 5th australian crown . Best of luck roger
