This video is mostly Roger giving an Interview in Swiss German, but right at the end you can see where he is presented with an enormous cow bell .... possibly the one for Desiree. :)

Fascinating to hear German Swiss spoken by a native speaker.  The language does sound very different from German.

The cow bell is just FANTASTIC!  :D

Oh dear, poor Desiree she will no longer be Roger Federer's cow :(

If this is the case lets hope the money raised will go for a good cause. Yes I too would love to participate, but dare not as my humble abode does not boast the beautiful meadow she deserves ....

As a point of interest what happened to the previous cows Roger was presented with?

Well, there are a couple of stories going around on that. I wouldn't want to comment on those, but, yes, Juliet (the name of the previous cow that Roger Federer got in 2003 July at Gstaad) was decommissioned or laid to rest or put to rest in 2005.

PS: Though, this news broke out in Media in 2007 July, 4 days after Federer won his 5th successive Wimbledon title....

Thanks, have now found and read a little bit about Juliette.  Apparently she was a good age when she was presented to Roger in 2003.  The reasoning behind it being that she would be mellow and well behaved during the presentation ceremony.  So all in all she had a long life for a dairy cow spending her time in the Swiss meadows.
