I had written, this small poem on Roger after he completed his Career Grand Slam by winning the French Open on June 7th, 2009. June 7th in deed is one of the most happiest & emotional days of my Life.

To play with such Amazing Concentration & Finesse,

Is way Beyond anyone’s wildest Profess.

In the 12th Year of his professional career, Roger Made History,

As all of us in the Tennis world, saw him with Mystery..

On a Tennis Court, Federer does Sizzle,

& The Opponents are in a Puzzle..

Play back or come to the net is the Dilemma,

As they Find his Playing Technique an Enigma.

Play back & he will drop to give the ball a dead Ticket,

Rush to the net & he will spank the ball across via his magical Racket..

An amazing Amalgam of perfect Concentration, Subtle & Guile,

Combining Technique, Perfection, & Craft with Wile..

Soft Spoken, Humility is his Symbol,

When he is in form, every opposition guy Trembles..

He is Tennis history’s true Hero,

As he has made great Opponents look like Zero..

2009%20RF.jpg

His Defence (Defense) has tired many opponents in to the Pavillion,

His heroism has sent whole of Tennis World in to Obvilion.

This super & fantastic heroic achievement,

Has made him Man of the Moment..

Born in the Year of Nineteen Eighty One,

His Work Ethics are a Dream for every one.

His love for this Great Sport,

Has always been proven in every Court..

His motto to do the every job peRFectly,

That's what differentiates him from every one Frankly.

More Glory to himself & fresh laurels to his fans & his country,

May his Achievements & Work Ethics inspire every one in the coming centuries…

Hope, you all enjoyed reading this.. Please do drop in your valuable comments.

Just had the life's best 5 minutes while reading this masterpiece. That great moment brought tears of joy & even, right now, I have tears. This is one of the finest poems I have read in my life.

If Fed hadnt won the FO in 2009, every tennis pundit would have rated sampras higher than him & as Sampras rightly said, this FO win makes Fed the all time no. 1 :)
