Depending on how their 2012 goes, I reckon the retirement shortlist is: Roddick, Kim, Dulko, Tanasugarn, Petrova, Venus, Sveta, JJ, Szavay, Dokic, Jill, Gonzalez, Nalbandian, Ferrero, Haas, Malisse, Clement, Scheuttler, Hewitt.

Seen an interesting tweet from @@FootFault_ yesterday on Twitter. It was about possible retirements this year...
Omit Gonzalez & Kimmy from list because they're definites for 2012. Loads of possible retirements mentioned. I think a few of them might retire by the end of the year. It's the perfect year really with the Olympics going on.
Thoughts?

Federer is through to the 3 rd round of the Miami masters with a 6-2 7-6(3) win over USA's Ryan Harrison. This match was potentially tricky but Fed was off to a great start ,racing to a 3-0 lead in no time .He was untouchable on his serve winning 24/29 service points in the first set .At 5-2 Fed broke Harrison's serve once again with a brilliantly hit cross court FH and sealed the 1st 6-2 in just 24 mins .Harrison showed more fight in the 2nd set but Fed got the early break . At 5-3 Fed was serving for the match when things got a little tricky mainly due to a rather unfortunate event .When Fed was down a bp on that game Harrison's shot dropped on the line but someone from the audience called it out.Fed thought the call came from the linespeople and thinking the ball was out didnt play the next shot .As a result he lost the point and the game .A series of bad line calls followed in the next few games but Fed kept his calm and things were tied at 6-6 .Fed played a great tie-break and finally closed out the match by winning the Tb 7-3 .Federer being the great guy he is embraced Harrison at the net and wished him the best for the season. This was an wonderful gesture from the great man , sure it will mean a lot to the youngstar. Federer faces Andy Roddick in the 3rd round which could be another tough match for Roger .Eventhough Fed holds a 21-2 Head tohead record vs. Andy but A-Rod has had a great deal of success in Miami. He is a 2 time champ here .Also beat the Fed here in 2008. Roddick's serve is one of the best in mens tennis and Roger knows that .All these years Fed has done a great job of blocking the serve back into play and once the rally start Federer's groundstrokes were supreme .I expect him to do the same in his 3rd round match vs. A Rod . Well best of luck to the maestro , hoping for a cracking match .
