Well, if he plays in Rod Laver Arena, it is actually a good news because at such high temperature, they will close the roof which makes it an indoor match which Roger actually loves. :)

Ah yes, that would be good.  Thanks for the positive thought  :)

woah 41° ... Hope the humidity is not high too! :(

A relief to hear that the roof will close over the Rod Laver Arena under those conditions ... I guess they have some form of air conditioning to stop it getting like an oven in there?

Yes, Rod Laver Arena is air-conditioned. However, it's not like it will be cool and comfortable like an air-conditioned restaurant. I guess it just lowers the temperature by a few degrees, but that will make a world of difference to the players. :)

Well, looking at tomorrow's schedule, Roger will be playing during the hottest part of the day - and it's forecast to reach 43 degrees!   I do hope you're right about that roof Tennis Lover.

Whether to set the alarm for 2 am or not bother to go to bed - that's the dilemma.  I probably won't sleep anyway, either before or after the match!

Hope all involved, specially the players, are OK in those hot temperatures. It sounds absolutely horrendous conditions for a high energy sport like tennis, played in a bowl on a hard surface ..... :(
