Yesterday's the men's seedings for Wimbledon 2014 got announced. As, I had explained two weeks back, all the Top 32 players as per their ATP rankings on 16th June, 2014 got a seeding. How ever, Wimbledon does a grass court surface adjustment, so seedings of some players for Wimbledon tend to be higher than their ATP Rankings and of some players lower than their ranking.

I must say, as far as Roger is concerned, I like that draw a lot. Not too easy, and far from being the most challenging one. I wouldn't be that surprise to see Feli Lopez as Roger's opponent in the quarters.  Nole's going to have a hard time getting to the final, trickiest path for him. Should be pretty straightforward for Andy to get to the semis, but we'll see (whether Grigor is going to make some headlines this Wimbledon). As for Rafa, as much as I would love to see him in the semis, I think that for him potential upset awaits every single round, but you never know with this guy. Should be interesting, as usual during the Wimbledon.

Mmmmm yes Novak Djokovic has a tough draw and Andy Murray appears to have the least challenging one, but we have seen it before things do not necessarily go to plan at Wimbledon. I wait with fingers and everything else crossable, crossed for Roger and hope he still has the keys to that beautifully veneered locker in his pocket in a fortnight's time :)

The person my heart goes out to is David Goffin, a lamb to the slaughter in the main arena.  I hope he gets some help on coping with the occasion and can pull something spectacular out of the bag.
