As we count down to the last grand slam of the season, this is the question that arises in ma mind..
Who will be the one to raise the trophy of the US OPEN in the flushing meadows..?
Novak has been in just a mere shadow of his form last season.. Still struggling to get the best outta him..
Unfortunate for Rafa to miss out yet another tournament..
Andy is starting to break his shackles and maybe, he could make the most out of this opportunity for his first major..
And the names down the list are always in the game, trying harder and harder to dethrone the big 3, or maybe 4...
And also, there is a certain roger federer... Who, for the past 8 and a half years, have grabbed exactly half the major titles, with 24 finals out of 34 tournaments...
And he is 31 Now, still at the top..
And This shows.. CLASS IS PERMANENT..
Still, the question remains.. can his brilliance win him an 18 th major.??
Or, will his age make someone get the better off him? (lets hope not..)
Will Andy take it all for his first major?
Will Novak rise up to reclaim the crown of the meadows.?
Or will there be the birth of a new champion in THE NEW YORK..??
Anyways, The US OPEN 2012, seems to be more of ' an open tournament ' for me..
Lets wait, hope and watch.

Thnx for that Batraji...
Fed was going fluent..., but after a 6 day break, berdych repeated a centre court 2010 to stun him at arthur ashe, this time putting an even better show...
In their last meeting, fed had beat him in the finale in the blue clay of madrid.. Nice revenge by tomas in the blue hard court...
and after 8 years at the flushing meadows, the name roger federer is not on the list of the last 4....
its a disappointment, as roger says....
but have a better look at the tournment now,...
*** there is djoker, strong as ever, a mighty defending champion...
but other than that...
new faces are emerging...
** andy murray, already in last 4... crushing all the big serving giants (, motivated by the gold and hungry than ever for his first grand slam... he has been in top form throughout the tournament and we are yet to see the best of him... and this, is an opportunity... with nadal off and federer out..., this is his chance to get to his first us open final and win the title... ( MAYBE... COZ AS ONE ANDY HAS LEFT THE COURT, ITS TIME THAT ANOTHER ANDY STEPS UP... )
** david ferrer, in his 4th consecutive QF this season in majors.. maybe the top 4 has undermined his achievements, but he has made the atp top 5 list a constant one this season.. and this is his chance to prove himself and to rise up in the big matches... he hasn't much beaten a top 4 player.... and here is an opportunity, maybe one of his last.. to just change the habit and shift the gears for a winning ride before the age wears him down...
** del potro, he is the ONLY player, other than roger, rafa and nole, to win a grand slam in the last 8 years... he is as incredible as this sounds., on his day.. he is in great form now.. and he kept his nerve to the uproars of new york crowd and ended the career of andy roddick ( farewell andy.., it was a privilege..).. he has done it before here... and he beat DJOKOVIC and won BRONZE in london... so.., he sure has a golden chance of making this his moment.. so maybe we are about to see another upset..
** berdych, he seems to have gotten that X-FACTOR.. he has proven well to be a giant killer.., now he is in the last 4... stunning roger with a show like that, and holding nerve in tight points.. he has done that all.. and he is enjoying it, happy, and motivated.. he has a good chance of making to his 2nd major finale and maybe win it all...
** TIPSAREVIC, nothing much to say on him.. he is no.9, he can turn into a wild card... maybe....
So, as roger departs, now apart from the champion, all the other contenders are new.. and each have their own reason and motivation to try win it all...
So as i said before..., this US OPEN has well proved to be an 'open' one...
Will DJOKER rule again, or will he be dethroned for a NEW KING in NEW YORK.....??? (i really like the sound of the latter... !!! )
wat else 2 do..., let's hope, wait and watch...
BATRA ji, this was written thnx 2 ur idea...
evry1 pls do post ur cmnts...

Even if I'm not a fan of Murray,I wish him to win, I want to see his reaction when he wins the first Grand Slam,to hear his screaming and see his tears,I also want to see his mother and his girlfriend.
and the most importantly he deserve.
But if Murray doesn't win, wish to be Ferrer or Tipsarevic

There is no doubt that Andy Murray can become No. 1 if he manages to win Australian Open, 2012. Thou, firstly, he has to defend 1000 points at Shanghai & then hope, for a great World Tour finals...
Possibly, if he wins Shanghai, WTF & Then the Aus Open, I think, by February, 2013, we might just see Andy Murray at No. 1, but will be very-2 tough
