In eight years for the first time
Federer's name is not in the line :(
A semifinal without Federer here
It seems little hard to bear

Berdych truely deserves a huge applaud
For in the quarters he has defeated tennis's GOD
The defeat brought but an instantaneous grief to his admirers
As this one for him has really been among the biggest of all years

All the ATP titles in 2012 were simply great
Wimbledon trophy and Olympic silver were an icing on the cake
Regaining the top spot was surely a record breaker

and what a peRFect 6-0 gift u presented to Djoker

More than this, what more could we expect now
My hero, for all this, kindly take a bow
For the Asian tour Federer I wish you all the best

Your smile is what matters above the rest... :)

So here is my second short poem too for Federer...kindly discuss here if u find any flaws in this...missing Myla a lot as she 4 sure wud hav cum up with a mch better one... n sry i cud not wait till the tour's end coz if Federer is out, the tournament does not hav any significance left for me...

Wow, I really-2 love this small creation. Take a bow. I liked the way, how you kept it simple, yet made such a brilliant rhyming sequence :)....

I am sure, my favorite poetess mylarose will also like this poem a lot. No doubt, Federer has had such a great summer. If you ask me to rate this poem, I will give a 99/100 for your honest try & the touching words.. Kudos & well done :).

Very well written. Pretty much summarizes every one's mood. Loved the smiling pic of Roger Federer, that's what so lovely to see & I gotta say, you are maturing as a poem writer, loved the way, how well you ended it. Well done.

For sure, a great try. I liked the start, the font colors, the concept, the execution. In all, a very-2 good poem. You virtually told every thing that you wanted to & that too in a great rhyming sequence. If any thing, I have learnt in my life, it is that rhyming sequences are very hard to be executed & full marks to you for maintaining this.

I am sure, federer will have a great october & november. THou, the schedule is very-2 tough..

Loved reading it. Full marks to you from me as well :). Loved the simplicity of the words
& most importantly, feelings.

As they say, pictures add value to words & full marks to you for chosing the best pics
with words that are quite well crafted & combined as per the situation.

No doubt, Roger has had a great summer, I am sure, no one has any thing left to
criticize, its been that good a summer for him. Hope, for the same during the indoor season.

oh ya, i'm glad to see another new member trying to write a poem :)
good one Yami i like it alot, especially the first and third paragraph.....Despite its simplicity, you had conveyed to us of great feelings.

i'm waiting for the next poem, but when Federer wins.....We do not want the pain only want happiness and hope ;) .

When life gives you a hundred reasons to cry, show life that you have a Roger Federer to smile.

Thanks Kishore :)

Shukran/Shokran in Arabic = Shukria in Hindi & URDU {the most used language in Indian Sub-continent} :)...
