Each player seems quite eager to play
Inspite of a very hectic year
Zeal and excitement pervades everywhere
News of the death threat was very much around
Nevertheless Federer arrived in the Shanghai battleground
For such is the perseverance of this great player
That even after all this his confidence did not waiver
The fans know there is yet another milestone in store
Which no other player has ever achieved before
300 weeks as no.1 will surely be grand
And to assure this,in the 3rd round,he has to beat (Stan the man) his good friend
